I visited the Hua Hin Night Market. Unlike the Cicada Market, which only opens on weekends, this market is open every day. When I arrived at the entrance, there were quite a few people. There is a Lotte store that was featured in a video, but I haven’t tried the food there, so I can’t comment on the taste.
The night market is bustling with various stalls and attractions. I even got a henna tattoo halfway through my visit, although it’s only going to last for a few days. If you venture a little further, you’ll find a row of seafood restaurants lined up. We went to the Bird Chili, a place that a well-regarded person had searched for. Sometimes, it’s best to go without questioning. Once you choose your menu, they grill it right in front of you. We ordered mango juice and Singha beer to accompany our meal. We also got complimentary side dishes and enjoyed grilled scallops with butter and Phad Pong Curry. Finally, we couldn’t resist ordering the garlic lobster. The seafood here is quite good, above average in taste.
Right across from the restaurant, there’s a live bar where you can enjoy live music while sipping on your beer and indulging in seafood. It’s a great atmosphere and you can easily lose track of time. Considering the quality and the generous portion, the price was surprisingly reasonable. The owner of the restaurant attentively took care of all the customers, which left a lasting impression on me. There are so many different menu options available, so it’s worth checking out.

During your visit to the night market, don’t miss the opportunity to try out the delicious seafood options available. Another notable highlight of the Hua Hin Night Market is the live bar located just across from the Bird Chili. If you’re looking to explore beyond the night market, there are several additional tourist attractions worth mentioning. For those seeking natural beauty, a visit to Khao Takiab is highly recommended. Known as “Chopstick Hill” due to its resemblance to a pair of chopsticks, this hill offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area, including the beach and the nearby Monkey Mountain. Be sure to pack your camera for some fantastic photo opportunities.
Another attraction worth visiting is the Klai Kangwon Palace, the official summer residence of the Thai royal family. This elegant palace showcases beautiful architecture and well-maintained gardens, making it a perfect spot to leisurely stroll and appreciate the regal surroundings.
Lastly, for those interested in history and culture, the Hua Hin Railway Station is a must-visit. Known for its unique architecture, blending traditional Thai design with Victorian influences, this railway station is considered one of the most beautiful in Thailand. Take some time to explore the station and learn about its historical significance in connecting Hua Hin to other parts of the country.
