I had a wonderful time during Christmas in 2018 at the Anantara Sathorn Hotel and the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to visit Thailand again since my trip to Phuket in June 2019.
This year, I am finally hopeful that I will be able to go to Thailand. Reflecting on the memories, I thought it would be great to share my experience, even though it’s quite late.
At the local restaurant located near the back entrance of the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi resort, I had the opportunity to try some delicious local Thai dishes. The taste surpassed any Thai food I had eaten at other restaurants. The “Tom Yum Koong” soup was exceptional.
The Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Resort also hosts a local night market every evening. Although it may be small in size, there are plenty of delicious food options available at affordable prices. Additionally, the “Su Ki” (not sure if it’s the correct spelling) skewers that can be enjoyed by the beach were truly a delight.
During my visit to the Hua Hin night market, I indulged in barbeque and lobster, known as “crayfish”. Interestingly, while other foods in Southeast Asia can be enjoyed at a significantly lower cost, seafood doesn’t seem to have much difference in price compared to Korea.
Another local restaurant that I highly recommend near the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Resort is “Morning Glory”. It was absolutely delightful.
The view of Bangkok City from the rooftop of the Anantara Sathorn Hotel was breathtaking.
The Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Resort was an accommodation that I absolutely loved. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind, and even my family members at home raved about how amazing Hua Hin and the Pranburi Resort were. If I had the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely consider staying at the Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Resort. It is truly an ideal destination for a relaxing vacation.
In 2022, the hope for international travel is rekindling. There are discussions about exempting self-isolation periods upon entry to Korea, and in the latter part of this year, it seems like we will be able to travel overseas more comfortably than now.
In 2018, it was just the two of us on the trip, but this year, two families are planning to visit Thailand. Once again, we are considering Hua Hin and the Sheraton Pranburi Resort as our top choices and making preparations. We will definitely need a lot of help from Taechoo again. However, it seems that the Pranburi Resort currently does not have any promotions available.
That’s all for this Hua Hin travel review, though it’s a bit late.
