Bangkok trip Avani Plus Riverside Bangkok Experience

Review of Avani Plus Riverside Bangkok Experience

From the airport, it took about an hour by taxi to reach our destination, which was not the hotel lobby but the entrance to Riverside Plaza. As we entered through the entrance and walked straight ahead, we saw the Avani Hotel entrance, just like in the photo. The lobby is located on the 11th floor, and you can take the elevator on the left side.

We were briefed on the deposit of 2,000 baht per night, the breakfast hours, the swimming pool hours, and the WiFi setup. We also received beverage coupons that we could use at the Long Bar. With all the information in hand, we made our way up to our room.

The room was slightly small, but it was clean and modern. It had all the essential amenities, and personally, I really liked that the refrigerator was empty. Of course, now it is stocked with delicious fruits.

As soon as we arrived, we didn’t waste any time and went straight up to the 26th floor. There, we found the swimming pool, which was perfect for some fun. It had a depth of 1.2 meters, which was suitable for a 5th-grade student like my child. The pool was not crowded, so we had a great time playing around.

For dinner, we took the shuttle to Icon Siam. We crossed the cloud bridge (?) that connected the 2nd floor to Anantara Riverside. After passing through the lobby, we went down the wooden staircase on the right and walked straight towards the direction of the swimming pool. There, we found the shuttle boat boarding area. The shuttle departs from Anantara Riverside on the hour, goes to Sathorn Pier in 15 minutes, then to Icon Siam in 25 minutes, and returns to Anantara Riverside.
