I recently stayed at Taecho Resort for 5 nights and I am sharing my highly satisfying experience. Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room I was assigned was even more spacious than what I had seen on the internet. It seems that the extra bed for my two children was provided, which was much appreciated.
Although the check-in staff initially seemed a bit formal, they kindly escorted me to my room and made an effort to understand and communicate with me as I’m not fluent in English. Interestingly, I happened to meet the same staff member again when checking out. They called a staff member to help with moving my luggage, escorted me to the lobby, and ensured that everything was taken care of. I was grateful for their assistance.
The swimming pool was also delightful, and the poolside bar menu offered a variety of delicious options. My family, who are skilled swimmers, particularly enjoyed the deep pool. The availability of sunbeds was always ample, and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We were thrilled to spot a lizard one day, and as a result, my children were eager to search for it every day thereafter, although unfortunately, we weren’t able to see it again.
The breakfast was truly delightful, with each dish meticulously prepared and delicious. The staff members were all friendly, and the menu was slightly different each day, allowing for a delightful and satisfying lunch experience as well.
While we didn’t encounter any ants in our room, we did spot a bug once. However, considering the abundant nature surrounding the resort, it actually made us feel good that there weren’t more of them.
The transportation was convenient, with the Sapan Taksin BTS (Skytrain) station nearby. We were able to explore the vicinity easily, spending a fulfilling 5 nights and 6 days. The train ran punctually without any issues. Additionally, my family loved the fact that it added to the overall vacation vibe.
Although I was initially concerned about the absence of a laundry service, I found a recommended service through a Google search. I made a reservation and the concierge took care of both the pick-up and delivery. They were extremely helpful and even provided an invoice for the service.
The location of the hotel was convenient for accessing the Avani Mall and the Galbigukso (Korean rib noodle soup) was delicious. We also enjoyed spending time at the Seen Bar.
One of the highlights was the Anantara app that I installed during check-in. It allowed for easy communication by using features like request translation through Papago. It was more convenient than communicating via phone.
Upon returning home, I received a survey in an email and upon responding, I received a reply email. It gave me a lasting impression that the hotel truly cares about its customers.
As we discussed our experiences, it’s already making us want to visit again. Wishing everyone a pleasant journey.
