Bangkok-Hua Hin travel review

I received a lot of help before I went, so I am leaving a review in the hope that it will help me too.

I’ll upload the photos later~It is a 7-day, 5-night trip with my children, aged 9 and 7, and this is my second child’s first trip.

The result is very satisfactory.

Both of them don’t want to come~~~ hahaMy wife and I book accommodations at our travel destinations for 2-3 days.

Most people go with breakfast included, but if you go for more than 3 days, you get tired of it, and it’s nice to see the hotel, so.

However, this time, even if we only sleep on the first day, we planned to stay at the Marriott in Hua Hin for 3 nights, but we had to split because we had a full book.

It was 5 nights and 7 days, but we used 4 hotels.

Usually, there is a period between check-out and check-in, so there is time wasted, but on this trip, there was no time wasted~ ^^I booked accommodation at Taecho Club~Schedule and accommodation.

▶ Day 1 (Cheongju -> Don Mueang)- I arrived around 23:00 andusedAmari Don Muang Airport because I was planning to fly over the next day.

– Amari Don Muang is nice because it is close.

Just go to the passageway connected to the airport.

I arrived late at night and had a lot of luggage and kids, so I felt burdened by taking a taxi, so I used it.

I don’t know if it was because I didn’t have high expectations, but it was better than I expected.

Breakfast is also pretty good.

– It would be a good idea to use it if you arrive late like me and move early the next day.

▶ Day 2 (Don Mueang -> Hua Hin)- I went over via a pre-booked SUV pick-up vehicle at 9:30, and when making the reservation, I went throughDamnok Saduak Floating Market.

When I applied for the tour, I was told there would be a 2-hour layover, so they charged me an additional fee.

When leaving Bangkok, there was a bit of a traffic jam near the floating market.

Floating markets are usually visited through local tours.

However, since I was on my way to Hua Hin, I felt like I had to make up for it, so I asked the company and they were happy to do it.

However, it’s worth going once, but don’t do it twice.

– For reference, there are boats that the owner rows himself and boats with motors.

You will be able to enjoy more activities if you use a boat with a motor.

However, it costs 3,000 baht for 2 hours of use on a motor boat.

It seems to be able to accommodate up to 8 people, so you can use it at a cheaper price if you join or use it as a group.

-The accommodationis Holiday Inn Banana Bar.

It is great value for money (highly recommended!).

I made a reservation for about 150,000 won including breakfast for 4 people and adding an extra bed.

The accommodation was in good condition, and best of all, the water park was free.

You can also use it by checking in/checking out.

A family of four can use the water park twice, and we even got an extra bed with breakfast for 150,000 won.

That’s awesome, right?^^.

– However, there is nothing special near the accommodation.

Other than the fact that there is a small local market and 7-Eleven across the street.

Instead, there is a free shuttle to Blue Port and Market Village shopping mall in 5 to 10 minutes, so there won’t be any major inconvenience.

– suggestion! There is a small restaurant inside the Blue Port Gourmet Market.

Here, if you buy meat directly from the Gourmet Market, they will cook it for you, or you can choose from their own menu.

You can eat a beef steak for 10,000 won, and it’s delicious.

Highly recommended!- Breakfast is definitely better than Amari~ ^^- After checking out and having fun, I called Grab at the Marriott check-in time around 3 o’clock.

▶ Day 3~4- The kids’ favorite place wasthe Hua Hin Marriott.

I made a reservation with full access.

^^- Kids leaving water?Even if it’s a bit of a stretch, go for full access.

I really, really like it.

The Marriott also has a pool terrace.

The pool terrace is also popular, but my family who saw it in person says the pool access is better.

The Marriott swimming pool is long and large.

– Breakfast is much better than Holiday Inn.

Is it obvious that the price is more than twice that?Hahaha First of all, I can’t remember the name, but the skewers made from pork are amazing.

And the bakery is great.

– There’s a beach right in front.

I don’t know if it’s because it’s the rainy season, but it’s similar to the East Sea seawater.

I didn’t go in~- You can walk to the shopping mall Market Village.

– Market Village is better organized than Blue Port.

A night market called Shigada Market is held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and it is less than 10 minutes from the Holiday Inn or Marriott.

Just call Grab and it’s quick.

▶ Day 5~6- When I came to Bangkok from Hua Hin, there was no delay other than a little traffic jam, so I arrived at the hotel in 2 hours and 40 minutes.

– The accommodation is Dusit Suite Trachadamri, whichcan accommodate up to 4 adults in one room.

I was leaving the country the next day, but since it was a night flight, I made a reservation for late check-out by 6 PM.

– The room has a separate living room and a kitchen, so it’s nice to be able to cook.

It was the largest.

Breakfast is a salad bar + made-to-order menu, but among hotels I’ve stayed at, I’m a bit satisfied.

– BTS Ratchadamri is about 100m away, so it can be accessed on foot, and a 10-minute walk away is Lumpini Park, the heart of Bangkok.

I saw a lot of lizards.

Dad gives me a thumbs up here too!I received it haha- Usually, when traveling to Bangkok, I mainly use Sheraton and Westin in the Asoke area for accommodation, so it was relatively inconvenient to move around, but it was okay when I used Grab.

When your child becomes a middle school student and there are three adults, there are many difficulties when choosing accommodation.

I think it would be good to use it in cases like this~ Our eldest child is still 9 years old.

Next time we go, I think we will go near Asok Station again~- Anyway, I arrived and went to Mega Harborland, the largest kids cafe in Bangkok.

It was quite large and had a lot of slides.

I used it for 2 hours and 30 minutes and it cost 1,900 baht including 2 adults.

About 75,000 won?But I left in less than 2 hours.

– After returning to the hotel, I rested, checked out at 6 o’clock, left my luggage at the front desk, and then went to Asoke and had dinner.

My second child is a foodie, but he doesn’t show his usual skills, probably because he doesn’t like Thai rice.

So, I ambitiously went to Koreatown and ate Korean-style rice and pork belly, and then went back to mukbang.

I also enjoyed it very much.

Of course, Korean food with good side dishes is the best!!- After enjoying a delicious meal, I got a foot massage in the basement of Robinson’s.

If I had known that kids liked massages this much, I would have gone there every day.

But I’m glad I got it twice.

– Anyway, when I went back to the hotel, it was 8:30.

I called Grab and went to Don Muang, so it was perfect~ ^^* I used Grab for the first time on this trip.

Before that, I mainly took BTS and taxis.

Bolt is cheaper, but I heard that there are sometimes arguments with the driver, so I only used Grab for convenience.

I felt it was a bit expensive, but I used it about 10 times and all the cars were clean and it was convenient to pay with a registered card.

I plan to only use Grab from now on.
