Bangkok trip Pickup Day Tour – Kio Ki Fox Open Week and Floating Market

Review of Pickup Day Tour – Kio Ki Fox Open Week and Floating Market

-Pickup

I made a round-trip pickup reservation through Tae Cho Club. Currently, I am in a vehicle heading to the airport and I am so grateful. I wanted to leave a review before I become lazy after arriving in Korea!

I made a few mistakes regarding the airport pickup. Firstly, I had initially reserved a pickup for 8:40 am today, the 18th, but I urgently requested a change to 10:50 am via the Tae Cho Club website at around 5 pm. They immediately responded, stating, “The reservation is not for today but for tomorrow. We have changed it to 10:50 am tomorrow.”… And I realized that my flight is actually at 1:45 am on the 19th, so I stupidly booked the pickup for the night of the 19th.

Secondly, I posted a message apologizing for the mistake and asking if it can be changed to the same day, the 18th, and they promptly made the change for me.

Thirdly, after enjoying ourselves and having dinner, my child asked how long it would take to get to the airport. I replied, “About an hour,” but my husband stared at me and said it would take two hours. I had changed it to 10:50 am, thinking it would take an hour… but then around 8 pm, I suddenly realized and became anxious since the staff probably left work already. So, I asked my husband to call the number on the voucher, and they were able to make the change for us. Even my emotionless husband found it amazing since it would be impossible elsewhere, but the person who answered the phone said, “Of course, we should change it for you,” and they willingly did so. Taicho Club is like an angel. Thailand must be all about Tae Cho Club.

-Daily Car Rental

About a day before the tour, I posted on a cafe and reserved through Tae Cho Club based on their recommendation. The person who came was the man listed in the emergency contact, but he kindly came and explained everything to us. The driver turned out to be a Thai woman who seemed like a Korean thanks to her good command of the Korean language. She took great care of us, especially since we were accompanied by a seven-year-old child. After the floating market, at the Animal Win, we realized that we had forgotten our passports and, for our sake, the driver borrowed a cart and even took us on a tour of the zoo. (Although, upon reflection, the passports were in the suitcase, so it was quite a nuisance to the driver to have to deal with us without passports…)

Inside the car, the driver overheard me and my husband discussing wanting to go to the market during our journey. So, she kindly took us to a nearby market, where she helped us order things in Thai and even prepared fried rice, pad thai, and fried snacks for us, all for 80 baht.

When my husband went to Terminal 21 to buy souvenirs, it turned out that there was nothing there. The mangoes were also too expensive. We wasted time, but the driver asked if we wanted to try mango sticky rice and kindly stopped nearby, where we bought lots of mango sticky rice and other things.

Although we unintentionally caused inconvenience here and there, they kindly accommodated us, and we enjoyed our trip with such great energy throughout. Stay healthy until we meet again!

-Other

Thank you to Tae Cho Club and other members who dedicatedly replied to my urgent questions in the cafe, such as Tae Cho-nim and Moo Young-nim, in real-time. I am grateful for your detailed and heartfelt responses. I also try to write detailed reviews as well, but it feels like I’m rambling.

-Suggestions

1. When searching for Tae Cho Club on Naver, it doesn’t appear well, so it would be better if it is connected through related searches, like a cafe, so that it can be found easily again.

2. It feels like the local staff members at Tae Cho Club are really special. Besides YouTube, it might be more effective if you also upload short videos on Instagram, maybe with hashtags. For tours or guides, it would be nice to take simple photos of the scenery or customers and use them. How about taking pictures of both the front and back views? (Just a thought).

3. At the beginning, the Tae Cho Club logo on the pick-up sign at the airport, with sky blue colors, is not very visible. Perhaps outlining it with a darker color or designing the icon or text slightly larger could enhance the promotional effects.

I hope Tae Cho Club becomes a leading company in Thailand for a long, long time. I had a wonderful trip!
