Dusit Gourmet, located within the Dusit Suites, is conveniently situated a short distance to the right from the front desk. Guests are afforded the luxury to order on an à la carte basis, tailoring their selections to their specific preferences. For beverages, one can easily access the counter situated directly across.
Although not overly crowded, the staff appeared to be diligently attending to their tasks, which led to a minor delay in receiving the menu. The à la carte system, however, ensured a tailored service, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a serene and simple breakfast experience.
Our family, particularly fond of buffet-style breakfasts due to our children’s preferences, only chose this option on the first day. On subsequent days, we relished mangoes and had an early lunch at Cru A Nai Ban. The menu at Dusit Gourmet is uncomplicated, yet refined. Among the dishes, the porridge stood out, whereas the waffles and pancakes left room for improvement. I found the avocado toast particularly delightful.
While the lemon-lime juice, also served as a welcome drink, was refreshing, it’s essential to remember that culinary tastes are highly individualistic. Trying it firsthand is always the best approach. For those considering a light breakfast or even skipping it altogether, a brunch in the surrounding eateries around 11:30 am is a commendable alternative. The Villa Market nearby is renowned for its plethora of dining options. Unfortunately, our imminent departure to Korea meant we couldn’t explore all these gastronomic delights. On our last day, after completing the swift departure test, we were pleasantly surprised to find the chicken teriyaki rice bowl available, much to our daughter’s delight.
Guests staying at the Dusit Suites are perfectly positioned to experience the vibrancy of the surrounding locale. The Villa Market, located a short distance away, is an epicenter of culinary delights. This bustling market offers a blend of traditional Thai dishes and international cuisines, ensuring that every palate is catered to.
For those keen on imbibing the local culture, the temples in the vicinity provide a serene escape. Their architectural grandeur and rich history offer a deep dive into Thailand’s spiritual heritage. Art lovers can explore local galleries showcasing Thailand’s rich tapestry of history and culture.
Adventure seekers can connect with local tour operators for excursions to nearby attractions. From picturesque waterfalls to dense jungles, there’s something for every thrill-seeker. Activities such as river rafting and elephant treks offer an adrenaline rush like no other. After a day filled with exploration, local spas await to offer rejuvenation through traditional Thai massages and holistic treatments.
