I should have posted this earlier.
On Saturday morning, I arrived in Bangkok by Thai Airways. Without exploring the city, we immediately took a van to Hua Hin, as we had made a reservation in advance.
Cicada Market is one attraction that I recommend. You can reach them at +66 99 669 7161 or find their location here: https://goo.gl/maps/DsQTsC1sjwAvu4hX7. There is also a Tamaring Yacht Market right below it, so make sure to check their operating hours.
The entrance to Cicada Market is impressive, giving off a clean and neat vibe. The place is exceptionally clean, and the shops are well-organized, making it ideal for tourists. There is even a performance happening on one side, which caught my attention. I also bought a bracelet for 290 baht, which was my first expense in Hua Hin, excluding transportation costs.
Furthermore, there are many charming items available at the market. In the middle, you will find food corners where you can have a meal if you prefer a less crowded atmosphere compared to the neighboring Tamaring Yacht Market, which has more of a local market ambiance.
On the other side of Cicada Market, you will find the exit leading directly to Tamaring Yacht Market. Unlike Cicada Market, Tamaring has a more local night market vibe.
While adjusting to Thailand’s climate and dealing with the relentless hunger caused by in-flight meals, I unfortunately couldn’t take pictures after struggling to find the food shuttle. It’s a sad story.
Finally, here is a tasty skewer shot to wrap it up. Cheers!
