There were many places I wanted to go on a tour, such as Pattaya Nong Nooch Village, Mongchang Cafe, which I learned about at Taecho Club, and the Crocodile Farm.
With limited time, the advice from many cafe people is that hotel swimming is the best for children.
Since it is too late to apply for a tour anyway, I only applied for Tiger Park.
▣ Hotel swimming pool-The hotel breakfast wasn’t quite to my taste, but it was okay.
My husband said that the bread was delicious.
My son only eats scrambled eggs.
Still, I took my time and ate for an hour.
This is the taste of vacation.
– While going out for a swim, I stopped by 3 Mermaid Restaurant, located 3 minutes away, and tried to make a reservation, but dinner reservations were fully booked.
There are only 4-5 regular seats available on a first-come, first-served basis at that time.
(I gave up quickly as I have never tried this first-come-first-served method successfully).
I also lived in Geoje Island, and since I’m from Busan, I’m not that envious of the sea, so I chose a cheap accommodation with a city view.
Instead, I chose a place that my son liked and said it had a good swimming pool, and it was also good.
– The swimming pool facing the sea was really pretty in harmony with the surrounding trees.
The entrance to the outdoor swimming pool was steep and had a cement floor to prevent slipping.
The tile floor gradually deepens from about the height of an adult’s thigh.
I don’t think it would be suitable for a 2-5 year old child as there is no shallow area, but if the child wears a tube and plays well in places where their feet can’t reach, it won’t matter.
My son has been learning to swim for several months, but he can’t swim properly, so he plays with a tube and only takes the tube out when he goes diving.
The water was clean and didn’t smell like disinfectant, so I was very satisfied after swimming for about 3 hours.
The deepest part seems to be over 180cm.
(When I stand on the floor, it’s about a palm’s width above my head.
I’m just guessing.
)- My son’s trip starts from today.
Well, if I go to Korea, all I have to do is take the swimming pool.
– I barely come back to my room past lunchtime and take a nap for 1-2 hours and rest.
▣ Tiger Park-An unexpected Tiger Park reservation is waiting for payment.
Wow~Entrance fee included for 2 adults and 1 child + smallest tiger experience 1800 baht.
– Adults can experience the big tiger, but if a child under the age of 15 is included, only the smallest tiger (2-5 months old tiger) can be experienced.
– Around 3 o’clock, I use the Bolt app to call a taxi for the first time.
Hmm.
It’s a very comfortable app.
I took a taxi for about 15 minutes, paid about 160 baht by card, and arrived at Tiger Park.
– They ask if you want to sign up for a safari (350 baht per person) or take photos taken by a photographer during the tiger experience (350 baht).
We didn’t sign up for the safari with the intention of taking pictures by ourselves.
(For reference, even if we didn’t apply for a photographer, the photographer kept taking pictures and showed us if we wanted to buy them later.
Since we took good pictures, they said 300 baht each, so we bought two.
If we had applied in advance, we would have bought them for 350 baht each, but we bought them without the introducing staff fee.
Let’s go.
)- You can see people taking pictures with tigers in the enclosure, and we participate in that too.
I wasn’t very scared, so I encouraged my son by touching the baby tiger’s thick fur.
My son pretends not to be scared, but the tension is clearly visible in the photo, and my husband can’t even touch me.
The photographer with the trainer inside the cage works hard to encourage this pose and that pose.
My son, who came out after meeting the tiger, was full of excitement while repeatedly saying, ‘I wasn’t scared at all.
’(Mom, I’m proud~)- While looking around at the many tigers locked in cages in the park, there are tigers that intentionally lash out at tourists outside the cages.
My husband and son were splashed with tiger urine, chuckling.
Tigers running in and out of the pool in the cage to cool off.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a dynamic tiger, either in Korea or on Kaoki Fox.
– The safari was worse than expected.
A golf cart-shaped car that ensures visibility and safety by covering the entire car with transparent plastic.
Tourists sit in four seats (two in the front and two in the back), excluding the driver, and look around the tigers kept on the loose within the site.
Since I had already seen the inexhaustible tigers, I was less impressed.
– On the way back, the floating market is right next to it, so I took a songthaew waiting right in front of Tiger Park (10 baht per adult).
I went to the floating market, but the entrance fee and boat price were twice as expensive as those sold by travel agencies, so I just gave up and left.
In my mind, I will come to Thailand again next time and experience the floating market then.
▣ Hotel evening swimming- As I returned by Bolt Taxi, I gave up on the restaurant and thought about going to Pattaya Mountain Observatory and decided to go to “Big Buddha”.
According to Google Maps, the Big Buddha and the mountain observatory were only about 200 meters away.
– When I got off at Big Buddha, there were a lot of Chinese tourists.
There is a golden Buddha statue in the distance, and golden dragons are decorated on both sides of the stairs leading to it.
Now that I’m here, I’m going to bow and go, take a picture, and post it three times.
- It was starting to get dark so I quickly asked for directions to the observatory, but why did they tell me to go downhill? It turned out that the observatory and Big Buddha were two different hills that were close together.
Eventually, the sun sets and I walk back to the hotel for about 20 minutes.
I received a lot of persecution from my son and husband.
ㅠㅠ- Before entering the hotel, I went into a restaurant in the alley and bought noodles.
I got Tom Yang noodles for 79 baht, my son got pork pad thai for 59 baht, and my husband got basic noodles made with egg noodles for 69 baht.
The taste of noodles on the streets of Bangkok cannot be compared.
It’s a bit unfair to come to a country with good food and only eat this kind of food.
– When I got back to the hotel, it was almost 7 o’clock and despite my husband’s dissuasion, I quickly jumped into the swimming pool with my son.
Even though I was in a hurry, I couldn’t bring a tube, goggles, or a towel to wipe my body, but my husband didn’t answer the phone.
Afterwards, we had about two hours of blissful water play under beautiful lights.
(They say the swimming pool is open until 8pm, but no one is there until 9pm.
)- Tomorrow is the day I return home, how should I plan my schedule? It’s a pity.
