A 4-night, 6-day independent trip to Bangkok-Pattaya with my son in his first year of elementary school – (1) Arrival in Bangkok at night

A working mother with a son in his first year of elementary school who is experiencing that his child’s vacation period is busier due to schedule management.

I planned a trip to Thailand for my son, who was very stressed due to the new English language school he started attending during the vacation period.

However, I have a lot of places I want to go in my head, but I can’t organize them, and I only booked a plane ticket for Saturday, August 12th at 19:05, departing from Busan and arriving at Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 22:30, but I couldn’t decide on a schedule and couldn’t even decide on a place to stay.

There was.

Problem 1) To what extent will tourism and experiences be mixed? My husband, who is new to Thailand, needs to include sightseeing, and my son won’t be interested in things like the palace tour.

Problem 2) When choosing an accommodation within your budget, should you choose an accommodation with a good swimming pool?Should location be considered important for tourist traffic?Problem 3) Should I stop by Khao Ki Fox while traveling between Bangkok and Pattaya?Should we go to Khao Ki Fox on a morning tour from Pattaya? For my first accommodation,I used Agoda and booked the ‘Center Point Silom Riverview Hotel’ Riverview near Sathorn Pier + Saphan Taksim Station, which is easy to catch the water bus or BTS the next day, for about 150,000 won.

Day 1▣ Board Jin Air at Gimhae Airport ~ Arrive in Bangkok- After sending one 28-inch piece of luggage weighing 17 kg as luggage, there are still 2 hours left.

After work in the morning, I stopped by the library and borrowed my son’s favorite book, Cookie Run.

I arrived with my heart racing while driving and was barely able to pack my luggage.

I borrowed the ‘Bangkok version’ of Cookie Run Adventure and hope it will be helpful for my trip.

I wonder where my husband went and came back from playing alone.

I’m a big fan of making schedules.

At the airport,I applied for a Wat Pho tour (joining) the next day.

(My Real Trip approx.

17,000 won per person*3 people)If you apply for both Wat Arun and Wat Pho, I think your child will have a hard time in the middle.

– Before boarding the plane,I belatedly install the lunch box eSIM I bought the day before from Naver Shopping.

– I forgot to mention that it is a low-cost airline and there are no in-flight meals.

My child was hungry, so I ate cup ramen on the plane.

My child bought black bean paste for 4,000 won, and my husband bought scorched rice for 5,000 won.

(The amount of scorched rice seems to be small, but it was surprisingly filling and delicious)It wasn’t bad, but next time I’m on a plane with in-flight meals.

(I like in-flight meals so delicious)- The wait for departure is long so the departure is 20-30 minutes late.

Should I take that as it is a low cost airline?- It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a trip, so I was walking out and suddenly looking for my luggage.

Her husband also went away in shock.

When I asked the staff that I had passed the luggage claim area, I was told to walk further.

ㅜㅜ I just did a lot of leg exercises.

– There is a SIM store or exchange before going to the luggage claim area, so it is good to prepare cash and phone before leaving the airport.

– I was lost because I couldn’t operate the eSIM I had prepared, but was able to use it with the help of a young Korean couple.

(Thank you~~~).

▣ Take a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport- Because I couldn’t apply for an airport pick-up,when I came out of the building on the first floor, there was a public taxi ticket machine.

After taking the ticket, go to the taxi at seat number 33, check the location of ‘Center Point Silom Riverview Hotel’ in the navigation, and depart.

Turn on the meter, and the driver who doesn’t speak English confirms the additional airport fee of 50 baht (Hacheuk baht in Thai) and departs.

-It was about 330 baht since it was a night when the city wasn’t clogged.

Paid in cash with an additional fee of 50 baht.

▣ Hotel check-in and late night snack- Since the hotel is connected to Robinson Department Store, it was dark because the department store was closed, but next to it wasEven though it was almost 12 o’clock, I was glad to see McDonald’s and street food stalls lined up.

I checked in quickly.

I gave a 20baht tip to the employee who carried my bag, and the employee always had a good facial expression for the service, so I was also happy.

I just dropped my luggage and went straight out to buy something to eat, but within 10 minutes, everyone closed because it was past 12 o’clock.

I had no choicebut to buy breakfast atthe ‘7-Eleven’ across the street.

(A bowl of rice 15baht * 2 chicken lunch boxes 45baht, lunch box with vegetables 45baht, bread with sausage 25baht)The bread with sausage was really crappy.

The chicken lunch box was so delicious that my son ate it all in a hurry, saying it was delicious over and over again.

– I applied for a hotel room with a river view, but since it is on the 11th floor, I can only see the river on both sides because it is blocked by the building in front.

Too bad.
