hello?I went to Pattaya again after a year^^This time, my mother (80 years old), my two younger brothers (40s and 50s), and my wife (50s) went.
A rare combination, right?lolMy mom didn’t have very good knees, and my younger siblings tended to travel abroad a lot.
Family composition (age range) and number of people are really, really important when traveling independently.
In my opinion, composition is more important than number of people.
With only five people moving, nothing is easy, from choosing a hotel to food to tours.
Moreover, we needed a connecting room because my younger sister, who was supposed to share a room with my mom, suddenly couldn’t come.
So, as an excuse, the introduction has become longer for your reference.
I think it would be too large to list all the reviews in a certain order, so I’m going to focus on hotel reviews.
*hotel1.
AVANI PATTAYA RESORT.
The first hotel, Avani Pattaya Resort.
For a 3-night stay starting August 4th, I was able to check in around 5pm using Thai Airways.
Pick-up was convenient and safe using the Taecho Club VIP van.
I reserved 3 basic garden view rooms.
Since my mom was sharing the room alone, I emailed her again to request a connecting room.
Since you are older, I hope the route is convenient.
This is a trip to commemorate the fact that you are turning 80 this year.
Perhaps because you requested this, you were given a connecting room and upgraded to a garden plus room.
I didn’t know it at first, but the building we were inSomething like this was attached.
It is not a building with a lobby, but a 4-story building next to it.
The first floor is all terrace suites, and the swimming pool, Beach Road entrance, and breakfast restaurant are close by, so we used it comfortably.
We were on the 2nd floor.
And, voila!.
I was very happy on the first day of my trip because they organized an event like this ^^By connecting the twin room beds, it became a huge bed haha.
My family and I all like resort-style hotels, and we chose a place with a garden so my mom could take a walk.
I was really satisfied with Avani because it was also in a great location.
You can take a songthaew from both the beach road side and the main gate side.
As you already know, there are all kinds of commercial districts, including shopping malls, local restaurants, massage shops, and convenience stores.
(For pictures of the shopping mall and swimming pool, it would be a good idea to refer to the review by Nuntonggrae that was posted first ^^)Just walking around the hotel swimming pool will make your trip not boring at all^^.
This is Pattaya Beach Road.
As it gets dark, an entertainment district appears.
The sisters are standing.
;;Pattaya has more stores that open later than Bangkok.
Many local massage shops are open until midnight or 2 a.
m.
The same goes for street stalls.
There are many things about the breakfast restaurant.
There are 3 days mixed together.
;;;It is divided into indoor and outdoor areas, and on the first day, halal food was served inside, but from the next day, it was moved to the outside and Korean and Japanese food corners were opened.
Kimchi stew, seasoned chicken, and tteokbokki were served.
Kimchi stew was better than I expected.
^^The noodles are outside, and the juice is delicious! The menu changes slightly every day and was overall good.
This is my first time taking so many photos of breakfast.
I couldn’t even think about opening the lid and taking pictures, so I was too busy taking pictures when I had free time.
;;There are relatively few reviews of Pattaya hotels, so I wanted to show them a little bit to those who might be curious.
I was so busy taking care of my family that I didn’t actually get any good pictures of the room.
Although it is old, it seems to have been well maintained.
The floor is parquet.
They provided plenty of coffee and tea every day, and there were also 4 bottles of water.
Even if I didn’t drink it all, they gave me more.
And, I don’t know if this is the case these days, but the power card is always plugged in, so the air conditioner always runs even when you go out.
Electronic devices can also be continuously charged.
The beds were all big and comfortable.
It’s enough to sleep with a child.
There is also a large sofa bed, so three adults can use it.
The connecting room is a combination of king bed and twin bed.
My mom and I used it and it was really comfortable.
It was nice that my mom didn’t feel anxious, and it feels like the room has become bigger, both separately and together.
^^The chair at the desk is very big and heavy.
It makes a lot of noise when you move, so be careful late at night.
Also, the stand switch is so small on the pillar that it’s hard to see.
We got lost for a while.
Haha.
All three bathrooms had only shower rooms without bathtubs.
The size is small, and there is a toothbrush, but no toothpaste and comb.
I asked the concierge and received only what I needed.
Amenities are in reusable containers.
Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all provided, and there is also body lotion at the sink.
It has everything you need in a 5-star hotel, including gowns, hair dryers, slippers, safes, irons, and umbrellas.
One thing that is disappointing is that the slippers are too thin.
It is a completely disposable non-woven fabric.
ㅠ.
This is a shower filter that has been used for one day.
There are a lot of hate photos.
ㅠㅠJust like last year’s Amari, I thought there was nothing we could do and prepared a lot this time.
I used bottled water for brushing.
Swimming pool opening hours are from 06:00 to 20:00.
There are various depths and short slides,There is also a wide bed tube that the hotel has floating.
There are a lot of sunbeds compared to the size of the pool.
I also like the pool bar that can be used right at the pool.
The price is expensive.
Coconut juice is 140++.
Because it is a hotel.
hahaI had a burger and fish and chips and it was delicious.
^^.
There is a very popular hotel bar next to the main entrance.
Dicey Reilly’s Bar & RestaurantI stopped by after going for a walk at night, and they said the outdoor seating closes at 23:00 and the indoor seating is open until midnight, so I had a cocktail on promotion.
The interior has a sports pub feel, and there is a fire pit outside, so I was curious about the taste of pizza, but I ended up not being able to try it.
***It is a resort with a resort atmosphere, but just outside the hotel you can find everything.
The breakfast is delicious, the pool is nice, and it’s a quiet hotel in an entertainment district.
The staff was friendly and comfortable, and there were no more mosquitoes than I expected.
More than anything, I was relieved that my mom enjoyed walking (possible because it was flat) and enjoyed swimming.
I also took a songthaew once when going to Terminal 21.
When going, take it from the main gate, and when coming, take it to Beach Road, across from Dusit Thani.
Take the songthaew and get off in front of Royal Garden Plaza and Amazon Cafe.
You’re so comfortable.
^^My family was very satisfied, and my younger brother said he wanted to come again for winter vacation.
I am 100% willing to visit again.
I also really wanted the terrace room on the first floor.
^^For those of you who are planning to visit in the future, if you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them using all the memories I was unable to capture at this moment.
Thank you for reading my crappy review.
