Bangkok trip A Brief Review of Athenee Luxury Collection Hotel

Review of A Brief Review of Athenee Luxury Collection Hotel

The guest had the privilege of staying at our establishment from November 6th to the 11th, a total of 5 nights. Their experiences during this period encompassed various offerings of our hotel, which they have kindly shared.

The lobby of the hotel, as captured in photographs, exudes magnificence and grandeur. Guest rooms, characterized by spaciousness, were found to be devoid of any dampness or unpleasant odors. Our guest had initially made a reservation for a Prestige Room due to the unavailability of the Ateni rooms. Subsequently, they were allocated a room on the 25th floor, which boasted a splendid view. It remains unclear if this was a result of an upgrade.

Our swimming facilities, though narrow in width, offer considerable length, catering well to those keen on swimming. However, it’s worth noting that the culinary offerings from the pool bar, especially the pizza and hamburgers, did not quite meet our guest’s expectations. The breakfast spread was appreciated, with special commendations directed towards the fresh fruit juice and bagels.

Beyond the premises of our hotel, guests will find an assortment of eateries, bars, and cafes. Notably, our guest chose to dine at the Boat Noodles restaurant for two consecutive days.

In terms of service, the warmth and professionalism displayed by our hotel staff left a positive impression, with our guest expressing broad satisfaction. However, they did voice a concern regarding our fitness amenities. For fitness enthusiasts, the equipment in our fitness club may seem limited. While the available cardio machines provide a comfortable workout experience due to low patronage, there is a noticeable scarcity of bench equipment and other machines.

For relaxation and wellness, our guest showcased a particular fondness for massages, indulging in seven sessions over their 5-day stay. They explored multiple massage outlets situated behind the hotel. Pricing for foot and Thai massages is set at 350 baht per hour. Our guest recounted their experience with The Touch, where they felt the massages, especially the foot massage, were somewhat cursory. Another massage parlor, newly established and located near The Touch, offers services at a slightly steeper price of 900 baht for 90 minutes. However, the expertise and proficiency of the masseuse there were particularly noted, albeit with strong pressure. Guests are advised to communicate their pressure preferences during the session. Moreover, the Athenee Hotel’s spa, located on the second floor, offers services at 4,000 baht (excluding tax) for a 90-minute session, which our guest found to be of impeccable quality and worth indulging in at least once.

Our guest hinted that they had additional experiences to share, and may provide further insights in the future.
