I have always loved touring hotels in Thailand and usually spend about a month there every year. After a three-year break, I finally came back, starting with Bali and now Bangkok. I also visited Phuket before arriving at the Peninsula Hotel for a four-night stay, where I checked in today.
As I was finishing up with the turndown service, the bellhop surprised me by bringing a basket full of mangosteens. Considering the notorious traffic situation and the fact that I didn’t even request mangosteens, it was a pleasant surprise. Seeing the mangosteens reminded me of the first time I met Mr. and Mrs. Taechon, who provided me with mangos in their office. It brought back precious memories and made for a special moment of nostalgia.
I can truly feel the hotel’s gratitude through gestures like this fruit delivery event. I’m sincerely grateful.
